Sue Broomhead - Front Office
Sue has been with our practice over ten years. Her home away from home would be Paris now that her husband Dave has retired. Sue's interests center around her children and their many friends as well as her and Dave's travels. Always pleasant and very helpful, Sue will be happy to aid you with any questions regarding our office policies.
Carolyn Horan - Front Office
Carolyn has been with us for five years now. Her main interests are her three granddaughters. Family time is the best! Traveling is another main interest. Her and her husband Mike will travel anywhere, anytime, especially to Maui to visit "her" whales.
Melanie Anderson - Hygienist
Melanie has been with us for nineteen years. She graduated from Southern Illinois University and moved to California that Summer. She and her husband Chris have 4 children that keep them very busy. Melanie volunteers at the kids school, is a den leader for Cub Scouts and an all-around taxi driver and loves every minute of it.
Marie Benson - Hygienist
Marie has been with the practice for over thirteen years. A Long Beach native, she finds that she has already met many of our patients while growing up in the area. Marie is teaching part-time in the Dental Hygiene program at Cypress College. She has recently returned to school herself and finds that most of her free time is gobbled up by homework.
Kaylin Cannon - Hygienist
Born and raised in Delaware, Kaylin has been enjoying sunny California for eighteen years now. She has worked as a dental hygienist for thirteen years, and is happy to have worked most of those years with the Emery office. She loves yoga and making her own pottery; and also enjoys hiking, going to the movies or theater, listening to music, and travelling with her husband.
Martha Salazar- Assistant
Martha enjoys going to the movies with my kids. Walking around the mall is always fun. I love to type and read good books. I love being a dental assistant!
Maria Rubalcava - Assistant
Maria has been a Dental Assistant with us for sixteen years. She is a mother of three. One of the her daughters now resides in San Diego, where she visits as frequently as possible. Maria and her family often travel to visit her families ranch , El Cuchuma ,in Tecate, Baja,California, a three hour drive from Long Beach. Maria's interests include church, going to the movies, wine making and jewelry making.
Enriqueta Herrero - Assistant
Enri has been with Drs. Emery for twenty-one years and we would be lost without her. She started with them right out of school. Enri enjoys her family and many friends both here and in the Philippines where she visits every few years. Enri is active in her church and her grandchildren keep her busy with their various activities.
