Since returning from our COVID-19 stay at home policy we have made new safety protocol changes in our office to increase patient and staff protection. As before, you will receive reminder notifications of your appointment. If you feel ill or show any signs of possible COVID-19 infection please cancel and reappoint later. If after your notification you are unable to keep your appointment and do not give a twenty-four-hour notice, we are now forced to charge a $85.00 cancellation fee due to new rising costs of personal protective equipment (PPE).
We request you try to come to your appointment alone as to limit the number of people in the office. When you arrive in the parking lot please call (562) 421-9361 and we will inform you when to come up to Suite 208. Please wear a face covering mask for everyone’s safety.
In our reception area, our Safety-Officer Adrienne will be greeting patients, taking their temperature and recording it on their personal screening form. If the patient’s temperature is above 100 degrees, the patient will not be seen that day. Hand Sanitizer will be provided and we will ask the patient to use it. The patient will be given another screening form to complete. Upon completion, Adrienne will review it and inform the doctors and hygienists of the results. The provider will accompany the patient to your treatment room and Adrienne will clean and disinfect all pens, clipboards, waiting room furniture and door handles between all patients.
If the appointment is for a dental cleaning at this time the hygienist will not be polishing in order to limit the amount of aerosol produced. We appreciate your patience as we make dental visits as comfortable and safe as possible. Thank you for your understanding about these current changes.
